How we collect, use, and protect your data
Last updated: October 2026
Information We Collect
Across our services, we collect the following categories of data:
- Account information: name, email address, and authentication credentials
- Usage data: app interactions, feature usage, and analytics to improve our services
- User-generated content: notes, journal entries (verve), travel itineraries (Voyage), chat messages (vibot), personal memories (vmem), and marketplace listings (ShareSpace)
- Financial data: transaction records, subscription details, and invoice information you provide (Vense)
- Device information: device type, operating system, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility
Health Data
Our application velth collects and processes sensitive health data that you voluntarily provide, including:
- Blood pressure readings (systolic and diastolic values)
- Blood glucose levels
- Medication names, dosages, and schedule information
- Health trends and historical health records derived from the above
How we use Health Data: Your health data is used solely to provide velth's core functionality — tracking, visualising trends, generating insights, and sending medication reminders. We do not use your health data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to your direct use of velth.
Sharing: We do not sell, share, or disclose your health data to third parties, except where required by law or with your explicit consent (e.g. data exports you initiate).
vmem and Chrome Extensions
vmem is our personal memory app. Its Chrome extension helps you save and search what you see and read online. The extension collects data only for the features you enable or use. Depending on those features, it can collect:
- Browsing history
- Bookmarks
- Page content and selected text from pages you choose to save
- Screenshots of pages
- Exported AI chat conversations (for example, ChatGPT or Claude exports)
How we use this data: We use it only to build your own searchable memory in your vmem account. We store it in your account on our backend, which runs on Convex. We do not sell this data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
AI processing: To create summaries and to power search, vmem may send your content to AI model providers through an AI gateway. This covers embeddings, ranking, and summaries.
Your controls: You can delete memories, one at a time or in bulk, from the vmem app and its settings. You can also delete your account data, as set out under Data Retention. Uninstalling the Chrome extension stops further collection from your browser. It does not delete data already stored in your account. To remove that data, delete it in vmem or contact us at hello@projectv.uk.
verve Chrome extension: The verve extension provides a new tab page and notes. It accesses your verve account data only.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use: Our use and transfer of information received from Chrome extension APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, to communicate with you, and to protect our legal rights. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Retention
We retain your data for the following periods:
- Account data: retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
- Health data (velth): retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual records or all health data at any time from within the app. Upon account deletion, all health data is permanently erased within 30 days.
- Usage and analytics data: retained in anonymised form for up to 24 months to help us improve our services, after which it is deleted.
- User-generated content: retained for as long as your account is active. Deleted content is permanently removed within 30 days.
We may retain certain data beyond these periods where required by applicable law or to resolve disputes.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Health data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may also request a copy of your data or withdraw your consent at any time.
